A little bit provocative, a little bit of nudity, a little bit Rocky Horror Picture Show, Eric T White’s collages are fun and irreverent. He mixes black and white photographs with colour ones, and plays with scale in an unexpected, yet still fitting way. Is that a head coming out of a pair of legs? Based in New York City, White inherited a collection of cameras from his uncle, breeding an interest, and eventually a career, in photography. Even with more than a handful of big name advertising and magazine clients, his collages show a maintained interest in the absurd and a flair for the offbeat and wacky.
