With showers and unseasonably low temperatures that seem to crop up here and there, Mother Nature seems to be having a hard time so far sustaining a week or two of warm, sunny weather. And while we have no right to complain—after all, at least it’s not snowing—you might find yourself dreaming of resort life in the tropics, especially if you’re stuck inside watching the rain come down.

Croatian artist Sanda Anderlon‘s exuberant summer collages are here to turn your nebulous daydreams into something tangible. With partying beachgoers, colourful birds and lazy palm trees. Sure there might be a few reptiles, a malfunctioning plane and a wayward waterspout, but hasn’t your imagination taken you on a few detours, once or twice in your life?
