Ted Feighan has a gift. He can blend disparate and unrelated objects, into a seamless work of art. You might wonder if he’s used some kind of witchcraft, blending buildings from different eras, and countries, along with a wavy, rainbow sky… Or people of different times and cultures, down a brightly carpeted forest road, into collages that, strangely, despite themselves, work perfectly as a whole. Part of it is his use of scale and colour, arranging the elements realistically enough that you can suspend your disbelief with ease.
The other part? Maybe you just want to believe.
