If you’re like most, fresh flowers only make an appearance in your home during special occasions—anniversaries, graduations, or dinner parties. Live blooms are a decadent treat: fluffy, plush, ethereal and maybe not for the everyday. But if you think fake flowers can never quite measure up to the beauty of their living counterparts, you should check out Tiffanie Turner‘s paper blossoms. A trained architect, the San Francisco based artist creates gorgeous and realistic looking flowers out of papier mache and crepe paper. Turner specializes in making petal-heavy varieties such as peonies and dahlias, and takes care in the design of every fold, cut, and crease.
