The colour green has long been associated with nature, growth, and vitality. The use of the colour green in Roland Moreau’s “Nu Vert”, which translates to Green Nude, is particularly effective, creating a sense of vibrancy and energy. The reclining pose of the woman however also creates a sense of calm and relaxation. If I let my imagination run wild, I would even say the reflection of the colour green on a feminine figure somehow evokes a sense of mystery and enchantment, like a fairy in a magical forest, in a faraway land.

“Nu Vert” is a beautiful example of Moreau’s work, featuring a female figure in a reclining pose with green lighting reflecting on her body. The image is both sensual and ethereal, with a dreamlike quality characteristic of Moreau’s style.

Moreau trained at the École des Arts décoratifs in Nice and has exhibited his work extensively throughout France and Europe. His artwork is characterized by his figurative style inspired by masterpieces in which he incorporates digital media elements, creating dreamlike, surreal, and modern artwork.

The use of the colour green in this piece is particularly striking, making “Nu Vert” a captivating artwork that showcases Roland Moreau’s unique artistic vision.
