Anna Sui delivers a 1960s memo with her 2015 spring/summer ready-to-wear collection “All We Are Saying Is Give Peace A Chance.” Enter the Lennon lovin hippie with her gypsy florals of spasmodic swirls and twilight twirls. Retroactively were back in London, the fashion capital of the world, during the British Invasion with John, Yoko and the Beatles too. Define Annas theme and you have the eccentric; a background designed with psychedelic artwork, bright stars and spherical planets. A whimsical atmosphere that alludes to tarot cards, psychic readings and horoscopes. The style is undeniably bohemian and cosmic.

The silhouettes are sheer with a batik waxy finish, ruffled with bishop, batwing and pagoda sleeves. The shimmery blouses electrify the satin; with fabric so delicate, it insinuates the look of lingerie. Deep plunging necklines complete the feel of the sensuous lace. Lots of ruching gives a rippled effect to the newly invented mini skirt. The bright shorts are drastically shorter than the shirts that hover them. Denim jacket, navy daisy top over a polka dot skirt scream “We Are Entering The 70s.” A neck scarf adds elegance while nude lipsticks, sheen eye shadow and metallic nail polish give the collection a sparkly and cosmic effect.
Sui also presented chunky necklaces and bracelets with moon and star pendants, black clutches, boots and wedges imprinted with stars.
