Coyote Negro jewellery brings together clean geometric lines and more natural, hammered shapes, all in solid sterling silver. Created by Melissa Hernández, a Puerto Rican Art Direction based in Brooklyn, each piece of Coyote Negro jewellery is made to order. Hernández explores jewellery as a “sculptural wearable element,” with a focus on “joining the dualities between geometric and organic shapes and harmonizing them under the same body.”

This duality is apparent in the new collection. It features a range of unique and innovative pieces, like the interlocking Cierre necklace and the Bar Chain earring, designed to wrap around the ear, while also including classic pendant necklaces and solid silver rings.

Every Coyote Negro design sits beautifully against a simple backdrop, and the sharply defined shapes of the ‘O’ and ‘De La Cruz’ earrings are the perfect statement pieces to complement minimalist outfits.  Much of the collection features an organic, worked finish, like the Milá Cuff Bracelet. This imperfect finish fits with Hernández’s vision of wearable sculpture: “No straight lines, like your body.”
